Abstract: Through the analysis of the shape and structure requirements of the aluminum alloy sunroom flume profile, the key design points of the profile extrusion die, including the structural layout, die core size, hole size and die working belt, were introduced. Based on the actual production process, the key points of mold processing for the super long cantilever sunroom flume profile were discussed. UG software were used to build the 3D model of the flume profile extrusion die for aluminum alloy sunroom. High precision CNC equipment was used to roughen and finish the die, which effectively ensured the accuracy of the die core, feed hole and lower die welding chamber. Wire cutting used the datum plane as the horizontal plane and the process hole as the center to process, and the upper and lower molds were processed concentrically without error. The experiment results show that using advanced processing technology and high-precision numerical control equipment to process the flume extrusion die can improve the accuracy, reduce the error, and achieve mass production.
