The flange is usually disc-shaped metal parts, it is mainly used for connecting links in mechanical engineering. With the rapid development of China's industry of flange, flange is applied more and more widely, and as a flange connecting parts, the accuracy is very high, is also very important to select material in in this paper, a typical structure of flange as an example, the first part analysis, understand the basic situation of manufactured parts, then according to the machining requirements of the choice of blank material, then calculate the machining allowance, and then determine the size of the blank, and then according to the manufacturing of the demand, choice of processing methods, the development of process routes, according to part The shape and accuracy for machine tool and cutting tool, then calculate the amount of cutting, NC machining programming of the flange, according to the overall demand for complete fixture selection, the final completion of the process of a more basic flange design.

绪论
在法兰盘的制造历史中，首次出现法兰盘是在1809年时，由英国人Erchardt提出的，而法兰盘的采用推广直到二十世纪初才被推广。我国是在上世纪三十年代开始运用法兰进行铸造，首先是日本在我国开辟法兰盘市场，紧接着韩国以及欧洲各个国家也都接踵而至，应市场需求以及政策支持，大量的工厂以及个体加工作坊都开始大批量的生产法兰盘，我国的法兰盘市场在此推动下发展速度与日俱增，目前已经拥有高度机械化以及自动化的法兰铸造机，并且出现大量法兰的机械生产车间。基本上所有的铸造合金都可以用于法兰铸造法生产。随着行业发展法兰盘的铸造工艺也愈发成熟，最小内径可达8毫米，最大直径可达3米，最长的铸件能达到8米，法兰铸件的重量范围也能从几公斤到十几吨。
